Before you start: what you'll learn and what you'll make

You'll make your first short, vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts — even if you've never edited a video before. You don't need to record your own voice, know an editing program or know technical terms. We explain every setting you need right where you use it.

You work in parallel: Kydro guides, and beside it you keep ChatGPT or Gemini and Fliki open in their own tabs. Kydro doesn't click or publish for you — it guides the decisions and prepares the materials you'll use in the free tools.

Why this set of tools and this order

Fliki combines scene-from-text creation, an AI voice, captions, stock media, music, simple editing and export in one tool — so you don't have to assemble your first video across several programs.

We prepare the script first in ChatGPT or Gemini, because Fliki's free credits are limited and text changes can consume more credits. First you see and approve the exact text, and only the final version goes into "Script to video". We don't use "Idea to video", because it hands Fliki control of the script — you should see and approve the video's text first.

By default we use stock media: the free plan has limited AI generation and credits, and stock is a safer route to finishing a first video. You can optionally use free AI images, but they are not a condition of completion.

Who it's for, what you need, and how you'll work

  • Who this Goal is for

    For someone who wants to make a first short video but doesn't know editing — a creator, a small-business owner, a teacher, a freelancer, or someone publishing privately.

    • You have an idea, a topic or a message, but no ready script.
    • You want to go through the whole process step by step, with no API and no mandatory purchase.
    • You accept the limits of a free prototype, including the watermark and the lack of commercial rights on the free plan.

    You don't need prior editing, your own voice recording or technical terms — we explain everything where it's used.

  • Who this Goal is not for

    This is not a full course in professional editing, TV-ad production, advanced animation or camera work. We're not building a long YouTube video here. We don't promise a viral strategy, guaranteed views or automatic publishing.

  • What you'll learn

    Skills that stay with you for your next videos too:

    • turning a loose idea into a clear film brief;
    • preparing a script with ChatGPT or Gemini and telling voice-over text apart from visual instructions;
    • using Fliki's create-from-script path and understanding 9:16, scenes, voice-over, captions, stock media and export;
    • judging the AI's suggestions instead of accepting them automatically, and checking the video before download and publishing.
  • What tools you need

    You don't need a camera, a microphone, a paid editing program, an API or experience. You just need:

    • a web browser and an internet connection;
    • a free ChatGPT or Gemini account;
    • a free Fliki account;
    • a computer is recommended for easier editing; headphones are optional but help you control the voice and music.
  • What the AI does, and what you do

    The tools speed up the work but don't replace your decision. The AI's output is not automatically correct.

    • AI and tools: prepare a first script version, split the text into scenes, suggest voice, images, captions and music, and speed up the first prototype.
    • You decide and check: whether the message is true and right, whether the scene order makes sense, whether the voice, images, captions and music fit, and whether the video can be downloaded and published the way you plan.
  • What the free path means

    Fliki free plan (verified 2026-07-27): account without a card, about 3 credits per month (the 36 in the comparison table is NOT a monthly limit), free export up to 1 minute at 720p with a Fliki watermark, "Script to video" in a limited scope, AI Video clips not available, and no commercial rights. The free result is a full test or personal video — not unlimited commercial material. Limits can change; sources: fliki.ai/pricing plus fliki.ai/masterclass/tutorials/credits and /text-to-video.

    For learning, testing and a first prototype the free plan is enough. For advertising, client work, a paid campaign or a monetized channel you must check the current usage rights before publishing — the free plan is not a commercial plan.

  • How the work will go, and how to use this Goal

    First you make a few decisions about the video, then you prepare and approve the script outside Fliki, paste the final text into Fliki, review and fix the result, and finally export the MP4.

    • Do the modules in order and don't move to Fliki before the script is approved.
    • Copy only the indicated part of the text, and after each step use "Done when…".
    • Don't check a control you haven't done; you can go back and revise a decision. The cover bonus is optional and doesn't block completion.
  • When you're really finished

    You finish not when Fliki shows a first version, but when you've downloaded the MP4, watched it from start to finish, and consciously checked the text, facts, pronunciation, images, captions, music, format, ending and the terms of your intended use.

What exactly you'll create

"About" is deliberate: the natural pace of the voice and the meaning matter more than a perfect 30.0 seconds or exactly six scenes. When you finish, you have:

  • an MP4 file with a vertical 9:16 video;
  • a video about 30 seconds long, with about 6 short scenes;
  • a Polish AI voice-over and readable captions;
  • matched visuals and subtle background music;
  • one clear message and a short ending or CTA;
  • a saved Fliki project and awareness of the free-export limits.

Success Tips

Expert recommendations to help you reach your goal faster and avoid common mistakes.

Credits

Recommended

Approve the script before Fliki

Every text edit in ChatGPT/Gemini is free; regenerating in Fliki spends limited credits. Enter Fliki only with a ready "Part B".

Quality

Recommended

Read the script out loud

It's the fastest naturalness test. Text that looks good can sound stiff — your ear catches it faster than your eye.

Honesty

Avoid this mistake

Don't leave invented facts in

A model can add a number, a testimonial or a product feature that doesn't exist. Remove anything you can't verify yourself — it's your video and your responsibility.

Format

Recommended

Vertical 9:16 from the start

Set the vertical format before you start generating. Changing it afterwards usually means regenerating and wasted credits.

Rights

Avoid this mistake

Don't confuse free with commercial

The free export has a watermark and no commercial rights. For advertising, client work or monetization, check the current terms before publishing.

Questions & answers

What people ask after finishing this goal

The questions that only come up once you have the whole picture.

Yes. This Goal does not require knowing an editing program, a timeline, frames or effects. Kydro guides you through the decisions, ChatGPT or Gemini helps prepare the script, and Fliki creates a first version of the scenes, voice, captions and music. Your job is mainly to judge and correct the suggestions — you do not build the video from an empty project.

You get a downloaded MP4 file with a short, vertical video of about 30 seconds, ready to watch on a phone. The video should have about six scenes, a Polish AI voice, captions, matched images or clips, music and a short ending. You also keep the script and the Fliki project, so you can return to make fixes.

The basic path can be completed on free accounts with no mandatory purchase. The Fliki free plan currently gives about 3 credits per month (the 36 in the comparison table is not a monthly limit), and a 30-second video with a standard voice and stock media costs a cautious ~0.8 credit — so the allowance covers a first video. The plan does have limits, though: a watermark, export up to 1 minute at 720p, "Script to video" in a limited scope and no commercial rights — see the "Free plan" panel with its verification date. Kydro should not push you to buy in order to mark this Goal complete.

You need a browser, the internet, a free ChatGPT or Gemini account, and a free Fliki account. You do not need a camera, a microphone, your own voice recording, a paid editing program or an API key. Headphones help, because it is then easier to compare the loudness of the voice-over and the music.

The interface may work in a mobile browser, but editing several scenes, captions and settings is usually more comfortable on a computer. Kydro cannot promise full mobile compatibility of Fliki without current verification. If a phone is missing a feature or elements are hard to use, open the same project on a computer — the project should stay saved on your account.

Because before spending Fliki credits it is worth seeing and approving the exact text the AI voice will read. ChatGPT or Gemini helps fix the structure, shorten the narration and separate the voice-over text from the visual instructions. Only the final, clean text goes into "Script to video", which reduces the number of unnecessary regenerations.

Choose the one you have access to and are more comfortable with. The Kydro prompt is built to work in both tools, and the result goes through the same review. You do not need a paid model version, but always read the script and check the facts, because no model guarantees correctness.

You can adjust the topic, audience, tone and ending, as long as the content is legal, safe and does not infringe anyone's rights. The Polish version of the Goal leads to a video with a Polish voice-over, and the English version to an English video. Other languages are possible only when Fliki currently offers a suitable voice; check the pronunciation before exporting.

Yes, if the current Fliki creator lets you upload them and you have the right to use them. Your own material may fit a product, place or person better than stock media, but it is not required to complete the Goal. Do not upload confidential material, and do not assume that merely having a file means you have the right to publish it.

First choose an available Polish voice and listen to at least one full scene. If a brand name, a surname, a number or a foreign word sounds wrong, simplify the spelling, write it phonetically, or pick another free voice. After each such change, listen to the corrected scene, because changing the spelling can affect the captions too.

Do not regenerate the whole video right away. Open the specific scene, type a simpler search term and pick a more fitting stock image or clip; you can also use your own material. Check each scene separately — the visual should support the meaning of the sentence, not just loosely match a single word.

Go back to the fix prompt in ChatGPT/Gemini and shorten the voice-over by removing repetitions and side information. Do not try to rescue an over-long text by speeding the voice up unnaturally. "About 30 seconds" matters more than exactly 30.0 seconds — above all the video should sound clear and natural.

Use large, high-contrast text and check the preview in the vertical frame so the captions do not cover a face or key elements. Short phrases are usually calmer to read than quickly flashing single words, though the style depends on the video. Music should be clearly quieter than the voice; listen to the whole video from start to finish before exporting.

Approximate costs (official Fliki credits guide, verified 2026-07-27): "Script to video" 0.5 credit per run, a standard voice 0.5 credit per minute, export 0.1 credit per minute, stock and your own media 0 credits; AI images consume extra credits, and AI Video clips are not available on the free plan. So a 30-second video with a standard voice and stock is a cautious ~0.8 credit, but regeneration and fixes raise it. If you run out, save the script and the project, come back after the credits renew or decide about a plan yourself — Kydro neither hides the problem nor forces a purchase. Values can change; check your current account and the pricing.

The watermark is a free-plan limitation, and no ways of getting around it should be given. If you need an export without a watermark, check the current paid Fliki plan, which officially includes that feature, or leave the watermark on a test video. The Goal itself must stay completable with a watermarked free export.

Do not assume the free plan grants such rights. According to the current official comparison, commercial rights are not part of the Free plan, so before advertising, client work or monetization you need a plan and a licence scope that covers commercial use. On top of that, you are responsible for the rights to the script, your own materials, trademarks and any other content used in the video.

No. Kydro guides you through the process, organises the decisions, and provides prompts and checklists, but it does not log in to external tools for you, does not click export and does not publish the video. ChatGPT/Gemini prepares a script proposal, Fliki creates and exports the video, and you approve and download the result.

A tool's interface can change, so look for a feature by its purpose, not only by an identical button name: creating a video from a ready script, setting the vertical format, choosing the language and exporting. Kydro should show the last-verified date and current names, but it cannot pretend to know every screen forever. If you cannot safely identify the right option, do not run a paid or credit-consuming feature on a hunch — first check the Fliki help or go back to that step's description.
